Balkowitsch Enterprises, Inc. celebrates 11 years in business. Shane Balkowitsch our CEO has been asked to speak to the Business School at the University of Mary here in Bismarck. The topic will be small business ownership and strategies for long term success in an ever changing market or environment. The focus will also be on economic markets and the impact they have on small businesses.
May 22nd, 2010:
The 1st Annual Volkowitsch Golf Open. The inspirational story behind this event began in 2003 when Melissa Balkowitsch was diagnosed with breast cancer. Missy underwent surgery and years of treatment for her battle with cancer. In November 2006 the cancer had metastasized, Missy continues to valiantly fight cancer today. Watching someone you love battle this disease on a daily basis leaves you with a feeling of helplessness. This golf tournament is our way to help others with their battle with breast cancer; to let them know that they are not alone and we will do whatever it takes to help them overcome and defeat this terrible disease. 100% of all proceeds will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation; to eventually one day find a cure. We guarantee this will be the most fun you have had on a golf course in a long time, and you will also be supporting a great cause.
