Typical Contaminants Removed:
Chem-Crest 14 is effective on oils, greases, blood, tissues, ointments, lubricants, buffing and lapping compounds, fingerprints and airborne contaminants. Crest also offers an enzymatic version of Chem-Crest 14, called Chem-Crest 14EZ for routine cleaning of biologically soiled instruments.
Operating Conditions:
Chem Crest 14 is typically used at 3 - 10% by volume in ultrasonic applications. Normal operating temperatures: 120 - 170°F. Recommended rinsing water temperature: 120 - 150°F.dependent on the material makeup of the substrate, and the contaminants being removed. Contact your Crest representative for product-line specific recommendations.
Substrate Compatibility:
Chem Crest 14 is safe on various metals, such as carbon and stainless steels, aluminum, brass, copper, bronze, and zinc, glass, plastics, hard rubber articles, and ceramics, when used as directed.
Storage Conditions and Disposal Methods:
Avoid freezing conditions. Dispose in accordance with Federal, State, and Local regulations and procedures. No products contained in this concentrate are regulated under SARA Title III, Section 313.
